I know firsthand how parenting can bring up old wounds. Raising five children, each with their own unique needs and challenges, has shown me that the patterns and unprocessed emotions we carry from our own childhoods can deeply shape how we show up for our kids.

Before my work as a somatic practitioner, I spent over seven years mentoring and teaching children ages 3–18 in nature-based, outdoor programs, and I also created my own outdoor preschool. In these roles, I learned to attune deeply to the children I worked with, following the threads of their unprocessed emotions and unique rhythms, creating space for trust, presence, and growth. These experiences gave me a gentle understanding of how children learn, grow, and respond to the adults in their lives.

I created this container for parents because I’ve lived it, the frustration, the overwhelm, the moments when you feel stuck in reactive cycles. Through my own journey of exploring and processing my own unprocessed emotions, reconnecting with my body, and practicing somatic awareness, I discovered that the most profound shifts in my children’s lives began with the shifts in my own nervous system. This work is about giving parents the space, guidance, and tools to reconnect with themselves, so they can meet their children from presence rather than reaction. I’m here to walk alongside you, drawing on my lived experience, wisdom, and somatic practice, to help you follow the threads of your own patterns, emotions, and nervous system responses, cultivating grounded, conscious, compassionate parenting.

This offering is for parents who are ready to look inward, noticing how their own experiences and unprocessed emotions shape the way they show up with their children. It is for those who long to bring more awareness, presence, and grounded, attuned connection into their parenting, whether navigating challenges or simply deepening their relationship with their child. Here, you are invited to gently follow the threads of your own patterns, so you can meet your children with greater openness, attunement, and authenticity.

This space is not about quick fixes or surface level strategies. It may not feel aligned if you are only seeking tools to manage a child’s behavior without exploring your own inner landscape. The work is rooted in presence, self-awareness, and embodied exploration, allowing you to cultivate connection from the inside out.

The Approach

Up to 2-hour one-on-one sessions, ideally in a 3 or 6 month container, with optional bi-weekly phone check-ins.

Rooted in F.E.R.N Wisdom and somatic experience, helping parents uncover and follow the threads of their past, unprocessed emotions, and habitual patterns.

Focus on embodied awareness, nervous system regulation, and cultivating a grounded presence in everyday parenting.

Support in transforming reactive patterns into conscious, compassionate responses.

Guided by my lived experience raising five children, offering wisdom and practical insights alongside somatic exploration.

Structure of Offerings

Weekly Sessions for Deep, Consistent Support Parenting from F.E.R.N Wisdom is designed to give you dedicated, embodied time each week to explore your own triggers, nervous system patterns, and ways of showing up for your child.

Session Details:

Duration: Up to 2-hour one-on-one sessions

Frequency: Weekly, or Bi-weekly

Integration Support: Optional phone or video check-ins every other week to maintain momentum and reflection between sessions

3 Month Container OR 6 Month Container

Flexible & Personalized

If life gets busy, sessions can be rescheduled to bi-weekly without losing continuity.

The focus is on your growth, presence, and embodied clarity, so you can show up for your child with conscious, compassionate parenting.
